About Dr Katib

Dr Nedal Katib was born in Melbourne Australia. He completed his medical school in Dublin Ireland, attaining a degree in Medicine and Surgery.

He completed his Vascular Surgery training through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, which took him to South Australia, New Zealand Queensland and finally returning to complete his final years of training in NSW.

He went on to have further training in minimally invasive techniques in Belgium and worked as a Vascular Surgeon in the Oxford University Hospitals gaining experience in aortic surgery. He also completed his Masters of Surgery at Sydney University.

He believes in excellence in surgery and maintaining a patient-centred approach. He also holds an academic post at the University of New South Wales and is committed to ongoing research to improve patient outcomes in vascular surgery.
